Well, this is why the site has been sucking lately. I got to the point where I had to make it easier to manage or I was gonna give up all together. So, I started using Wordpress and I hope it’s gonna make things alot simpler. I’ve pretty much replicated all the things from the old khumpty, with some new things and a new look. Here’s a breakdown:

• New Layout
  • There are problems in IE 6 and below. I’m working on them. IE has trouble with some of the graphics. The quickest fix is to get Firefox.
  • You drag and drop the sidebar boxes into any order you’d like. You can also minimize them by clicking on the little green dot at the top of each one.
  • Only registered users can use the chat box. I could be convinced to changed that, but we’ll see.
• Users
  • If you were a registered user, I’ve imported all your accounts to the new site. You should have an email containing your new password sent to the email address you originally registered with. You need to login and change it. If you gave a bunk email address to register, you’re probably SOL.
  • To get an avatar you’ll need to use a Gravatar. You need to associate the same email account you use for khumptydotcom with you Gravatar account. It’s alot easier to add avatars and edit them. And they’ll appear here automatically! I’ve created a walkthrough here.
